Aaaah, if only I had a magic wand like Fairy Princess Beastie’s! It would definitely save me an hour or two the next time I take a notion to give the BeastieBlog a little facelift. As it is, I’ve spent the morning looking through photos, making lists and trying to get my poor semi-senile laptop to cooperate… all in the name of deciding which Beasties get to star in my updated Gallery and Hall of Fame pages!
There have been a good few new arrivals in Beastie Towers since I first put the Gallery together back in February, and I wanted to make sure that some of these got a chance to take up residence in the prime internet real estate on my homepage! So I’ve added some recent favourites…
… While still keeping a few familiar faces in there too!
If you have a second, do go and check them out – I’d love to hear what you all think! Especially if you reckon there’s a Beastie missing who should be part of the lineup…
We’ll be back on Friday, with more Beastie antics! See you then… and in the meantime, have a great week!
Hallo Helen!
Great to see Beas-tris in the Hall of Fame and our family opening the Gallery!!!
Thanks a lot for your kindness!
On 19 we’ll fly away to SouthWest France (PΓ©rigord) for holiday and will take our Beasties with us!
Expect to be astonished!
Ciao
Antonello
Hey Antonello! Yes, I was going through my pictures from the past year, and Beast-Tris has been so popular that I thought she deserved a spot in the new-look Hall of Fame! Plus your family of Beasties were one of last year’s biggest projects, so of course you’ll be greeting everyone who comes to visit my online gallery π Hope you have a super holiday, and I’m looking forward to seeing what you and your monsters get up to! Ciao! H π
Still love the Dr Who monster, but Fairy Princess Beastie might be my new favourite!
Heehee, thank you! I always love to hear which Beasties have been a hit with my readers π Maybe I should make some regular-sized Fairy Princess Beasties next?
Good idea! You could make a whole fairy-beastie kingdom!!
Heehee! Magic! π
Although I adore ALL your Beasties …I have a real soft spot for the Misunderstood Grim Reaper Beastie ….not sure what that says about me !!! so glad he made the Hall Of Fame
Haha! You know, back in January I questioned the wisdom of having him as my first new Beastie of the year, but you’re right…he definitely does have a creepy cuteness to him! I really like that photo of him in the maze, too, so that helped secure his place in the gallery π Cheers for stopping by!
I remember two barrister Beasties from long ago who looked super in their gowns and wigs. Could they make the shortlist for the gallery? And then there was the pirate with the parrot on his shoulder…..and the scuba diver…..they’re all brilliant. The Beastie Gallery knocks the National Gallery into a cocked hat!
Oooh, good call Queen Bee! I suppose I might have been so keen to get all my newbies in there that I forgot about some of the early ones. Thanks for reminding me π
How did I miss this post? They all look so adorable. I love how their names and birthdates pop up when you hover. Nice job!
Awwww, thanks! And you’ve reminded me that I have a couple of other Beasties to add in, so your comment is actually perfectly timed π
This blog is so cool! βΊβΊβΊ
Thanks, Simon! And cheers for stopping by our little corner of the internet!
It’s a pleasure, it’s a great little corner! βΊ
Thank you! I’m looking forward to getting a chance to catch up with your blog now that I’m not frantically making market stock π
Thanks – I hope you find something that you like. Feel free to ask anything.. or just say hi:-)
