Commissioned as a Christening gift for a sweet little baby girl, I made sure this Big Beastie had plenty of extra special features! First of all, a nice friendly smiling face…
… And a pretty silver and pink dress to wear!
As she was going to live with a family of redheads, her hair colour pretty much chose itself! This rich red yarn was super soft and cuddly.
And a silver thread mixed in with the yarn I used for her stripey legs added a little twinkle to her toes!
I also added some reminders of the Christening day for her human counterpart to enjoy when she’s a bit older.
First of all, a pair of cute felt angel wings and hearts embroidered with her Christening date…
… And then a squishy felt heart-shaped pillow embroidered with her name!
The pillow included ribbon loops at the side, so that the Beastie can put it down for playtime, too!
