Wooooooo! Hallowe’en weekend is finally here, and there are spooky Beasties about! Welcome to a special late-night edition of the BeastieBlog… Now, who’s that shadowy caped figure lurking up there?
It’s Dracula Beastie! And he’s really dressed to kill, in full evening dress and a red satin-lined cape…
But don’t worry, he doesn’t bite. In fact, why don’t we join him in the library? It might be late, but he’s expecting friends…
Oh look, here they are!
Hey there, Jack O’Lantern Beastie and Skull Beastie!
And now they’re ready to head out trick-or-treating! Hopefully they’ll be back in time to join me at my next market… If you happen to find yourself in Dublin this Sunday, be sure to join us at the Smithfield Market Fair from 12-7pm! It’s going to be spooktacular!
What are you all up to for Hallowe’en? And what will you be dressing up as? Let us know in the comments!
That’s a beastie posse! Lol
Yes indeedy! I’m hoping they brought home lots of treats for me last night…
Will they not eat them all first?
Dangit! That’s why the cupboards are bare π
Those naughty beasties! π
Clearly I need to make them more felt goodies of their own. Then they’ll leave my food alone! π
Will they like that though?
Of course! Felt and fibre is an essential part of any balanced Beastie diet π
But they like sweeties and alcohol too? They know something good when they see it! lol
Ha! Yes, but overindulgence in those tasties is as bad for them as it is for us π
Well exactly… I bet that can behave beastly after consuming all of that!
Oh my goodness! They are all wonderful. Vampire Beastie is superbly theatrical. I love him!
Thank you! It’s been a couple of years since I last made a Vampire Beastie… The design definitely has come on a bit since my last effort π
oh dear! How super duper cute … I’m in love!
Have fun at the market! We will go to the annual Zombie-Walk. I can’t wait to see my weirdo-friends. π
Sounds like fun! I have to work on Hallowe’en itself, but I plan to come home and carve up a pumpkin once I’m done! Have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by π
Oh, pumpkin carving. I almost forgot about it! Now I have to hurry. π
Enjoy your weekend! … or what’s left of it.
Thanks, I did! Hope you had time to carve your pumpkin!
Yes, we finished just in time for Halloween.
Eek! This was so adorably scary I had to wait until daylight to read it! I’m just glad there’s no sparkly vampires amongst this bunch (talk about horror!).
Yep, just classic vampires all the way at Beastie Towers… None of your wimpy Twilight nonsense here! Thanks for stopping by π
Is it just me or does this scary Beastie bear more than a passing resemblance to Grandpa in the Munsters? Am I giving away my age by saying that??
Hahaha! No, I think you’re safe… The Munsters has been repeated often enough that no-one will be able to tell! You’re right though – what a happy coincidence! I bet I’ll be humming the theme tune all day today as well…
He’s welcome to trick n treat at my house any time. He’s so cute
Thank you! I’m glad you like him… I figured it was high time I had another go at making a Vampire Beastie π
Your Beastie crew get more stunning each time I log in !!! you have truly excelled yourself x
Why thank you Mrs P! Praise from talented fellow crafters is the best! I hope you had a super Hallowe’en π
Although I was at ‘The Workplace’ – a 10 hr shift we had trimmed up to the max LOL the home looked superb we had a spider/ cobweb/ spooky monster ball of a time
Glad to hear it! You might have guessed that Hallowe’en is my very favourite holiday! I’m sure all your ladies and gentlemen enjoyed the change of scene π
He he he. I love them all! π
Cheers! Hallowe’en Beasties are the most fun to make! π
