Hooray! The Sun’s Out!

Look, everyone! The Irish summer has made a surprise reappearance!

So I thought today’s new Beastie should have his photo taken in the luxuriant(ish) gardens of Beastie Towers. I’m pleased to introduce you to Cookie Beastie, who is outside enjoying his favourite treat in the lovely warm sunshine.
Welcome, Cookie Beastie! CrawCrafts BeastiesBut picnicking alone isn’t much fun…
Cookie Beastie, by CrawCrafts Beasties…So a few friends came out to join him!
Beasties in the Garden - CrawCrafts BeastiesMuch better. But of course, it didn’t take much time for these mischievous monsters to start running riot among the plants! Maybe they had too much beer… or fizzy pop!
Red Lemonade Beastie and Pint Beastie - CrawCrafts BeastiesUm, how exactly DO you climb a plant whilst holding a full pint of Guinness?
Pint Beastie - not a drop spilled! CrawCrafts BeastiesBut not everyone was clambering through the undergrowth. Cheerleader Beastie was eager to practice a couple of new moves…
Cheerleader Beastie, by CrawCrafts Beasties…While Redhead Beastie was happy to stop and smell the flowers.
Redhead Beastie, by CrawCrafts BeastiesBut rounding up these little critters was more than a little tricky – especially when they’re as well camouflaged as Aran Beastie!
Spot the Beastie! CrawCrafts BeastiesStill, I managed to lure them home by promising a market trip this weekend… our first of the year! We’ll be at our old stomping ground, The Ha’Penny Market at The Grand Social on Liffey Street, from 12-6 on Saturday. So if you’re in Dublin (or even if you’re not – take a day trip!) stop by and see us. We’d love to meet you!

    1. “Adoption event” – brilliant! I should put that on a banner and hang it over my stall. You can check it out for yourself on Saturday… A day trip is totally feasible, I’m sure the jetlag would only really start to kick in on your flight home πŸ˜† And I suppose it goes without saying that Sesame Street was one of my favourites as a kid!

    1. Hmmm, another blue monster who loves cookies? It can’t be coincidence! Cookie Monster is one of my favourite Sesame Street characters, so this Beastie is kind of a tribute πŸ˜€ Thanks for stopping by!

        1. Those a great little beasties. I’m sure they would make great little presents fro Christmas – you do sell them right?

        2. Well I hate the thought of it but Christmas isn’t far away, so I may have to get an order in soon I expect! πŸ™‚

        3. I know… It’s scary how quickly this year has flown by! I’m still wondering where June and July went πŸ˜† Sure, let me know what you decide… I still have a few commission slots left! πŸ˜€

        4. Perfect! The price varies depending on the accessories – some need more fiddly work than others! Commissions usually start at €40, but I’ll be able to give you a firm estimate once I’ve sketched up your design πŸ˜€
