It’s that time again…

Oh, it’s snuck up on me (and possibly all of you as well) a bit this year! But with the evenings getting darker, trees suddenly looking bare and the odd set of fairy lights appearing in windows around town, there’s no denying it – the end of the year is fast approaching. And that means…
Paddy's Idea - Beastmas 2018 - CrawCrafts BeastiesNo, I’m not quite ready to say it yet either! So I’ll just hint that I’m going to be very busy for the next couple of weeks, and leave it at that for the moment.

And my full schedule means that unfortunately the BeastieBlog will be going into hibernation until things quieten down a bit on the monster-making front. Don’t worry, we’ll be back before the end of the year to wave goodbye to 2020! So, stay safe out there and we’ll rejoin you in a few weeks.

In the meantime, please resist the urge to party too hard…

    1. Heehee! Thanks Mariss… And hopefully we’ll get a chance to catch up again before the year is out 😊

    1. Thanks Jan! I do enjoy a good doughnut, and so do the Beasties, it seems! Hope you’re keeping well 😊

  1. See you after the holiday rush! Glad you are busy but I am sure you are thinking – yikes! I love the little Irish Times! When you return to blogging you should do a post on the “Best of Accessories for Beasties” – you have made so many absolutely brilliant miniature accessories! (my Beastie enjoys hers everyday!)

    1. Awww, thanks Tierney! It feels like a very long time since that teeny Irish Times was “published” but it was only last year 😱 Glad to hear tierneycreates Beastie is still getting a good run out of her accessories – let’s just hope she doesn’t turn into the stereotypical green-eyed monster when she sees what I’m making for my other Beastie clientele πŸ˜‚ Stay safe & see you soon!

  2. I can’t believe how fast the Halloween decorations went down in my neighborhood and we’re replaced with Christmas ones…which are nowhere near as fun. I’m determined to hunt down a house that has a zombie Santa or spider-reindeer hybrid.

    1. I know! But at least Hallowe’en got a good outing in your neck of the woods. I swear I started seeing Christmas trees in mid-October this year 😳 Good luck in your quest to find Zombie Santa and his arachnid-deer too – I think a giant spider with a red nose would be super festive, and oh-so-good at climbing on rooftops, but I suspect that 80% of the population would disagree with me on that…

      1. Yep, started seeing Christmas decorations in the stores back in August. But since we didn’t have a back to school season, I guess they had to fill the shelves with something. The spiders could also weave sturdy bags for all of Santa’s toys. Why has no one thought of this? I see a new Christmas cartoon special in the making!

        1. Yes! And if I start working on this in January, then we can have tie-in merch on the shelves by next August πŸ˜‚

  3. Holiday thoughts… I can’t believe how the time has flown. I wish you a very productive and festive holiday-rush period — and glad to hear that there are many more new Beasties on the make to welcome for 2021!

    1. Thanks Shirley! And yes, after this lot I’ll have no shortage of blog post material for January 2021! Stay safe and see you soon 😊
