Springing Back into Action!

Hey look! I’M BACK!

Paddy Plunkett Daffodils - Spring Break - CrawCrafts BeastiesNo, I haven’t been hiding out in the daffodil patch with Paddy and Plunkett for the last month… Although I bet that would be a party!

I’ve been keeping busy with knitting classes, plus a little non-Beastie-based work. It’s always a good idea to keep food on the table, and yarn in the stash! I’ve also been spending a heap of time in my new studio, where Ophelia is making sure I don’t slack off.
Ophelia - Studio Kitty - CrawCrafts BeastiesSince we last spoke, I’ve been gradually moving more of my crafting kit out of Beastie Towers and into the studio… One blue IKEA bag at a time! Honestly, what did craftspeople use to transport their gear around before?! I’ve also picked up a few things to make my little workspace a bit more “Beastie”, and I’ll be sure to give you the new and improved photo tour in a future post.

So, what’s coming up over the next couple of weeks? Well, I’ve some new Beasties to share…
New Beasties - Commissions 2019 - CrawCrafts Beasties…Plus a couple to finish up and add to my online store (AT LAST)!

And once the April showers ease off a little, I know I won’t be able to stop certain little monsters from hitting the road! Expect to see Explorer Beastie and Paddy and Plunkett setting out to seek adventure again soon.

We’ll be back next week with a new Beastie for you all to meet. Get ready… She has so many accessories!

See you then!

  1. That is one beautiful cat! How on earth do you get any Beastie work done with a glamour puss like that hanging around? And great to see Paddy and Plunkett out and about again. Do Beasties hibernate in the winter in Beastie land?

    1. Hahaha! No, I think Beasties are always active… It’s Beastie makers who hibernate! As for Ophelia, she’s actually a very helpful assistant. She keeps my knees warm while I work! Thanks for stopping in, Queen Bee!

  2. Welcome back! I can’t wait to see your new crafting space … and honestly I don’t know what I would do without my blue IKEA bags. I’m sure if Frodo had had one he would have been in Mordor a lot faster! … And if Sauron had had one he would have never lost the ring in the first place!

    1. Hahaha! Now I’m picturing scenes from “The Lord of the Rings” movies with additional blue IKEA bags 🀣 I think mine will be pressed into service again today, ferrying another load of craft stuff out of Beastie Towers! Cheers for stopping in, Ivonne 😁

        1. Better again, someone could probably have bunged all the hobbits into one and carried them the whole way!

  3. Welcome back!! I can’t decide who’s cuter…the real cat or that little Beastie one. Who am I kidding? It’s the real one. I’m sure she’s ready to take home the Cutest Cat in the World award I have for her.

    1. She is too flippin’ adorable, isn’t she? So worthy of an award! And she’s great at “helping” me with my work, too – I think I caught her attempting to abduct a Beastie from my desk yesterday πŸ˜† Cheers for stopping in, Tammie!

        1. I think they share an affinity with our feline friends. It must be the pointy ears! 😺

  4. Keeping food on the table is a good idea! We don’t want Paddy and Plunkett straving! Your beastie with the kitty looks amazing (of course all your beasties are amazing!) Great to catch up on your blog. Oh and I have plans to go to Dublin next year with some friends!

    1. Ok, let’s address that last point first… Yaaaaay! Exciting!! 😊 If you need a tour guide, I’m here! What time of year are you thinking of coming?
And yes, keeping those Beasties fed and entertained takes resources… But I’m sure you know that yourself! πŸ˜‰ Cheers for stopping in, Tierney!

        1. Oooh, that should be amazing! I’ve seen bits of the last night performance on TV before, and it’s something else! And Dublin is only a short hop away after that, so you should both DEFINITELY pop over while you’re in the neighbourhood. Plus the Irish “summer” is an experience in itself πŸ˜†
