Aaaah, it’s not often that us monster makers get a chance to get away from it all… so when one popped up out of the blue, Explorer Beastie and I grabbed it with both hands/paws! Unfortunately we’re not 100% sure what the internet access will be like at our destination, so we’ll catch up with you all again when we get back on Friday. In the meantime, we might post the odd holiday snap on Twitter or Instagram to make you jealous!
See you soon, and have a great week π
Happy holiday, and what a way to celebrate our fleeting summer
Yeeeeeah! Why spend hours enduring the increasingly undignified experience of air travel when the Costa del Carlingford is just up the road? Thank you, we had a lovely time π
Have Paddy and Plunkett sent you and Explorer Beastie some return tickets to wherever they are now? Is there going to be a Beastie Convention??
Alas, no. But we still had a lot of fun in the sun, and Explorer Beastie made a new friend! We’ll be sharing some of our holiday photos over the coming weeks, so stay tuned! π
Have a nice time!
Thanks! We did… Photos of our adventures coming up soon!
EB is here! Yay! Ths means lots of awesome blog posts and insta photos are coming up, yay! π
Enjoy Helen and EB! π
Thanks Zahra! Explorer Beastie made a new friend when we were on holiday… she had a great time choosing photo locations, so we have plenty of pictures to share!
Waiting! π
Enjoy your trip. Can’t wait to read all about it.
Cheers! We had loads of fun… And we even managed to take a photo or two π Expect to hear the full story soon!
That sandwich sure holds up well π§ππ€ Have a great trip!
Hahaha, who says it’s always the same one? π Despite his love of adventure, Explorer Beastie is surprising mundane in his food choices… Mind you, if he ever approaches me asking for a rotisserie chicken to put in his backpack, I’ll probably have to say no.
Now I’m picturing Explorer Beastie running up to unsuspecting chickens and nibbling on them (or trying to) since you wouldn’t provide him with a chicken of his very own.
Hahaha! Oh no, poor chickens! That’s quite the mental image… for animal rights reasons, I suppose I should probably figure out how to make one out of felt, then π
Better say it’s a tofu chicken to ward off any animal rights problems altogether.
Good thinking! Although those little pointy teeth would suggest that Explorer Beastie is at least an omnivore…
Ah, yes, the dentition might suggest that, but what about the Beasties with square teeth? Are they vegetarian?
Not sure… Around here they tend to make their own dining arrangements, for the most part. But you can help further Beastie research! Try treating Finn to a steak dinner this evening and see what happens.
