Beastie Boom!

New Crop! Spring Beasties by CrawCrafts BeastiesLook at this! A bunch of new arrivals!

I’m delighted to announce that a whole herd of brand new Barróg Beasties – special little monsters made with 100% Irish wool – have invaded Beastie Towers! Earlier today they emerged from the box where they had been hiding…
Thinking Outside the Box - CrawCrafts Beasties… Assembled the tools they thought I might need…

Beastie-sized Treasures! CrawCrafts BeastiesThey also made a start on deciding which colours I should use.

I’m sure a few of them will be looking for old favourites, like books and mugs of tea, but I have a feeling that there might be some requests for new, never-made-before items too. So with that in mind, I’m going to be taking a bit of a “spring break” from blogging over the next couple of weeks, and slow my postings down to once a week – at least until we get these guys sorted out, anyway!

In the meantime, you can keep up with the whirlwind of monster activity here in Beastie Towers by joining us on Facebook and Instagram!

See you again next week!

  1. Hey Helen! 🙂
They are so cute! Didn’t you ask them, for how long have they been hiding there in the box? And can i make a request? Let’s go sporty? 🙂
Waiting for them have their accessories and show them off! 😀

    1. It’s hard to tell… Beasties experience time differently to us 😉 And I’ll definitely see if there are any Sportsbeasties in the group, good idea! I’m sure not all of them want to stay at home drinking tea 😀

      1. I did have an idea regarding the time domain, hmm. No worries, it’s good to have them out of the box! 😀
Oh yeah, do ask them! We could have a Sunday morning football feast maybe! 🙂 I’d love to join in! 🙂

  2. So cute! Have a fun blogging break. I’m sure your clever brain doesn’t need any new ideas, but I’m picturing a Beastie with its own knitting needles and thread (perhaps making a tiny Beastie in some sort of infinite Beastie loop) and a Beastie with a paint palette and brush (and wearing a beret, of course).

    1. Amazing! A knitting Beastie… I’ve been meaning to make one of those for so long, and yet somehow none of the Beasties has ever asked to become a knitter. Surely there’s one in this latest batch of arrivals! I love the idea of them being busy making another Beastie, too 😀 Super suggestions, because it’s been aaaages since I last made an Artist Beastie as well. You are now our new official Beastie Career Advisor!

  3. What a lovely bunch of beasties 🙂 Sounds like you will be kept busy for the next few weeks but I’m already looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I second the idea of a knitting beastie too! Have fun with all your creations! x

    1. Thank you! I’m definitely going to have to do a knitter now 😀 Should be an interesting couple of weeks, I feel like it’s a while since I sat down and made my own ideas… Hopefully I’ll have something fun to show you all at the end! Have a great weekend 😀
