Happy New Home, June Beastie!

Hey there everybody! Today we’re catching up with June Beastie again as she continues her journey to her new home. It’s been quite the adventure, starting way back here! And, in case you missed it, there was a more recent update last week… Which attracted a few interested non-human readers.

“Hey Plunkett, what are you… Oh, look! It’s that Beastie who showed up here a few months back! What’s she been up to?”

Well, funny you should ask that, Paddy. Because here she is!

“Hellllllooooooo?”

Beasties in the kitchen - R Crawford/CrawCrafts BeastiesNow, I know that June Beastie’s ever-present rolling pin has raised a few eyebrows throughout her travels. Did she have trouble getting it through airport security? And why would she need it on a visit to a National Park?

Given that it has never once left her paw, I’m sure you’ll all appreciate her glee when she spotted this…

June Beastie’s mind is made up.

“That’s it, I’m staying here! And to say thank you to my new human friends…”

Yum! I wouldn’t mind exploring that well-stocked refrigerator myself!

And after a delicious meal, there was only one more thing June Beastie needed to check out.
“Look! A blue apron, just like mine! And this pocket is the perfect place for a travel-weary Beastie to settle down and…”

Happy new home, June Beastie! Hopefully she’s still helping her human family to cook up a storm in that lovely kitchen.

As for the rest of us at Beastie Towers, we’ll be back on Friday with another round of unusual Beastie accessories… So be sure to join us then!

    1. True… She’d have to roll them along by running on the top like a circus performer! Thanks for popping in, Mariss!

  1. Just look at all those rolling pins! Little wonder June Beastie feels right at home, wherever she is. And trust Paddy and Plunkett to get in on the act – I knew that travelling Beasties kept in touch with Beastie Towers HQ but until now I hadn’t realized they kept in touch with each other too. They’ll be dominating Zoom before you know it!

    1. Hahaha! With the pandemic limiting travel, they might have to take their socialising onto Zoom! The blog does help them keep in touch though… Turns out it’s not just for humans 😉
      Thanks for swinging by!

  2. I’ve been bored enough once or twice to check the TSA website for banned carry-on items, and have never seen Rolling Pin listed, so June Beastie is clear to go! After all, you never know when or where you might need to roll out a pie crust or two.

    1. Definitely! It’s probably a good idea to bulk out your in-flight meal with a nice homemade pie, too. Thanks for clearing that up, Tammie 😂

        1. Haha! Indeed… It would certainly help the time to pass more quickly on long flights 😁

    1. Anytime, Tierney! Not pictured – the ingenious means she used to open the door despite being far too small to reach it 😂 Thanks for dropping in!

    1. Hahahaha! Possibly not, Simon… Then again, it sure would be handy to have a Beastie eager to use up all those little odds and ends of food that are just too small to make a human meal! Thanks for popping in 😁
