Hello Beastie friends! And in case the post title had you wondering – no, I haven’t drastically changed direction and started working in near-future tech. The Beastie virtual reality experience is probably at least a couple of years away. Virtual reality FOR Beasties though – that I can do!
This woolly monster dude was created as a very special gift for a guy who’s also super into his tech. The VR headset and headphones are modelled on his human-size equivalents… But they’ve been cunningly Beastified using 100% wool felt and a little bit of embroidery!
And the tech doesn’t stop there, either! He’s also got a special Beastie-sized controller for a drone…
… Which is apparently hovering above us somewhere!
But how is he holding onto that thing?
Special magnetic paws, of course!
Now he can grab all sorts of cool stuff.
A Beastie has to stay fit, after all! And since this little guy’s human counterpart works in a gym, he’ll fit right in there too. Especially in his cool shorts and muscle vest outfit…
Wait a sec, who’s that I hear?
It’s our Beastie’s trusty pup – a Beastie-sized Pekingese! (Or should that be Beastie-ngese?)
Anyway, it looks like this sweet little felted fuzzball is certainly happy to see his owner!
Good dog!
And now, just one more accessory to complete the look. This Beastie is off to live in Greece, so he’ll definitely need…
SUNGLASSES!
That’s better. Time to kick back and relax…
… Because this modelling malarkey is tougher than it looks!
Thanks to Trish for commissioning this awesome, accessory-laden Beastie! I hope he’s enjoying his new life in the sunny Med. I really need to start delivering these Beasties by hand, and get to some of the exotic places where they end up!
We’ll be back next week, when Paddy and Plunkett will be helping out an unexpected visitor. See you then!
Your accessories always make me swoon. You are so talented and clever.
Awww, thank you Laura! Lots of crazy new accessories in this one – it kept me on my toes! Cheers for swinging by 😊
Haha … absolutely gorgeous! 😎
Herzliche Grüße vom Lu
Thank you, Lu! I had fun with this one! Cheers for popping in 😊
Wow! Or should that be Bow-Wow? That is one superb Pekingese. Your doggies are always fantastic….just as a little treat for regular visitors to the Beastieblog would you think of putting up a post featuring all the different tiny dogs you have made for people over the years? I’d love a trip down memory lane!
Oooh, good idea Queen Bee! Any other votes for a review of Beastie pets from the last few years? Thanks for dropping in 😊
I just love this. Oh my goodness the stuff!
Thanks Melissa! And yes, Beasties do love their stuff, don’t they? No minimalism here! 😆
Cheers for stopping in to see us!
Hi Helen, I just want to thank you for my “June” Beastie. I love her! She’s just like me. Thanks to Ross she took a tour of our home– She seems to like the south. I really appreciate her and having Ross for a few days. Maybe sometime when Ross comes back to the South you cam come with him. We would love to have you both! Thanks again Helen, say “Hello” to your parents and what a joy it was to be able to spend time w/Ross. He definitely made himself at home while here–it was great. Thanks again Helen and I look forward to maybe seeing June Beastie on your Beastie Blog. June Seifert
Hi there June! What a pleasure to hear from you, and I’m so glad your Beastie made it to you safely. And I think you might find this coming Tuesday’s post quite interesting, so keep an eye out!
I’m also going to pester Ross to bring me along with him next time – I’d love to meet you and see some of the beautiful part of the world which you call home!
Thank you so much for dropping in to say hello, and I hope you enjoy the upcoming posts 😊
Ooh imagine the adventures Paddy and Plunkett could have in virtual reality, without us having to worry about them getting lost/injured/eaten/arrested!
Hahaha! You might be on to something there, Hannah 😂 I’ll suggest it to them and see what they think!
Thanks for swinging by! 😊
Great Beastie idea, I’m sure he’s having fun in Greece.
Yes indeed – lucky boy, eh? I really should start delivering these Beasties with exotic final destinations in person 😉
Thanks for popping by, Simon!
I think you should too… I’m not sure you would make anything from them though 😂
Always a pleasure
Probably not… But I don’t know until I try, right? 😂
Well I think you need to try your best lol
Sounds like a plan!
Wow, that is some moustache! And this Beastie certainly has lots of “toys”, all so cleverly crafted. And the Pekinese is remarkable.
Thank you, Mariss! Yes, lots of fun bits and bobs for this guy to get him ready to fit in at his new home! Thanks for dropping in to have a look 😊
Oh stop! You are exceeding the legal level for awesomeness again!
Heehee! Oh, I’d apologise, but you know I won’t stop doing it 😂 Thanks for dropping in, Tierney!
