Wow… Looking at this picture, it really seems like a very long time since I sent these two off to their new home in the UK! Check out how green everything is outside!
Anyway, despite the pre-Christmas rush, the Piemaker Beastie Girls have found some time to send me a couple of photos of themselves. They’re working hard for fellow pie enthusiasts Farmhouse Direct…
… Or so they say. To me, it looks like they’re gadding about in a pie-filled wonderland!
While one Beastie poses next to a mountain of pies stacked as high as her head, the other is lounging around on a gigantic pastry-based sofa… YUM!
OK ladies, breaktime’s over! Time to show off the human-sized pies that inspired the Beastie versions I made for you…
…And tell everybody about the special offers!
That’s better. All in a day’s work for these two!
Thanks to Suzanne for taking these photos – I always love getting updates from Beasties abroad. And now I think it’s time for lunch! I could really go for a pie today, for some reason… See you all next time!
So lovely!! ❤ ❤ ❤
Thank you! You can’t go wrong with a nice pie 😀
Those pies look amazing!
I know! I’m hoping my Beastie friends might sneak me out a few when the boss isn’t looking… YUM! 😀
Haha, love it!
Thanks! 😀
The beasties need to share their favorite pie recipe…or at least share their favorite pie.
We’re having trouble coming to a consensus on that essential question… So far, nominees for best pie include chicken, sweet potato & feta cheese and felt & wool. Cast your votes now, please!
Stay away from the felt and wool. Those pies really pack on the beastie pounds.
Hahaha! That may be so… But on the plus side, they’re full of fibre! And so warming on a cold wintry day too 😉
I came found a recipe for Shropshire Fidget Pie in my hunt for things to do with apples a couple of weeks ago… I wonder if the beastie girls have made one of those yet!
Oooh, what’s in one of those? And what a great name for a dish – it would suit me down to the ground 😀 Britain really is heaven for pie lovers… Perhaps the Beasties and I need to do some pie-centric tourism and seek out these regional specialties!
Apparently they include pork and apple, but there seem to be lots of variations with respect to added herbs/seasonings/pickles etc… I may have a go and report back. I love the idea of pie-themed tourism!
Please do… I’d love to see the results of your ex-pie-riments! Meanwhile, I’ll chase away the winter blues by dreaming up a route for my jolly Pieliday! 😀
A project for this weekend, I think…
Heehee, I look forward to seeing photos! 😀
