In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Grid.”
Turns out that I didn’t need to look too far for pictures for this week’s Photo Challenge! Going through the holiday snaps from the trip Explorer Beastie and I took to London last year, I found a surprising number of grids – in Kew Gardens (above and below)…
… At Shakespeare’s Globe…
… And on the banks of the Thames!
Lucky we decided to take a city break, isn’t it? Grids are a lot harder to come by in the country!
See you next time!
A lovely set of photos 🙂
Thank you! Funny thing is, after I did this challenge, I started seeing grids everywhere…
Which goes to show we need to look more, I wonder how much we miss simply by ‘seeing’ and not really looking
I know! Taking the time to do this photo challenge over the last couple of weeks has revealed things in my own photos that I didn’t notice when I took them!
I’m yearning for a new camera – which sort do you have ?
I use a Panasonic Lumix… I’m on my second one now (my mum asked if she could have my original little point-and-shoot after a friend gifted me a newer, slightly larger model) and I find them great! Highly recommended 😀
Thanks for the recommendation
No problem! Happy snapping 😀
That’s a lovely shot of the greenhouse, and I love the Beastie in front of the Globe 🙂
Thanks! I’m not sure if we’re going to get away anywhere this year, so it was nice to have an excuse to look through last year’s photos again!
Great grids! I love your beastie too. 🙂
Thank you! I was just going to use the ones from Kew, and then I found more 😀 Cheers for your comment!
Great grids especially with your little monster.
Heehee! Everything is better with Beasties! Thanks for your comment 😀
