In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “From Every Angle.”
For this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge, I thought I would revisit a Beastie I made at around this time last year… Indie Rock Beastie!
Once he was ready, I took photos of him from a couple of different perspectives, to showcase his handsome smile…
…And the details on his totally handmade guitar – a miniature Gibson ES325, lovingly rendered in felt and thread!
I don’t often photograph Beasties from so many different angles, but I thought this guy was worth it!

What’s the name of his band? Is it a THE something band?? 🙂
I reckon it would have to be, wouldn’t it? 😀 I’ll be sure to let you know when they’re next on tour!
hahaha, so cute. Though teeth could have been bit smaller ( Grrr, I am scared actually 😛 😛 )
Cute guitar though.
Ha! Don’t worry, he doesn’t bite.
His one look is terrifying enough to give me nightmares. You have a great cabal Helen 😛
The guitar is stunning!! How much time it had taken you to make it? It has so many details…. 😮 😮 😮
I agree. The guitar alone is a work of art!
Thank you! Guitars are crazy fiddly to make… If you count the time I spent researching the shape and cutting the templates, this one took about 8 hours 😱 It’s worth it when someone appreciates the little details though 😀
I have imagined something like that… Kudos for your patience!
Thank you! You don’t HAVE to be mad to do craft, but it certainly helps 😉
❤ ❤ ❤
Let me know when tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale, what a heart throb xxxxxxxxxx
If you’re ever in London, you might catch him playing some of the choicer small venues in the really cool parts of town… He moved there last year to take advantage of the more happening music scene 😉
He’s simply gorgeous
Thank you! I have to admit to bring a teeny bit proud of this handsome little fellow 😁
He’s rockin”! Can you please set a link to your post about other beasties you’ve made? It looks like you’ve referred to a post. To link to another post I’ve made, I open my post in a new window, copy it’s URL, then go back to the post I’m creating and highlight the word I want to use as it’s link and press enter. That makes the link easy. I then click the pencil edit tool and check the box so the link opens in a new window. You can see an example in my post for this week’s photo challenge. Thanks, I’d love to see more beasties!
Done and done! I’ve included a link to a past post about Indie Rock Beastie, and you can use this link
as a jump-off point to meet more Beastie friends 😀
Thanks for your comment!
