Weekly Photo Challenge – From Every Angle

Indie Rock Beastie - CrawCrafts Beasties

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “From Every Angle.”

For this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge, I thought I would revisit a Beastie I made at around this time last year… Indie Rock Beastie!

Once he was ready, I took photos of him from a couple of different perspectives, to showcase his handsome smile…

…And the details on his totally handmade guitar – a miniature Gibson ES325, lovingly rendered in felt and thread!

I don’t often photograph Beasties from so many different angles, but I thought this guy was worth it!

Enjoy!

  1. hahaha, so cute. Though teeth could have been bit smaller ( Grrr, I am scared actually 😛 😛 )

    Cute guitar though.

    Best Wishes,
    Anand 🙂

    1. Thank you! Guitars are crazy fiddly to make… If you count the time I spent researching the shape and cutting the templates, this one took about 8 hours 😱 It’s worth it when someone appreciates the little details though 😀

    1. If you’re ever in London, you might catch him playing some of the choicer small venues in the really cool parts of town… He moved there last year to take advantage of the more happening music scene 😉

  2. He’s rockin”! Can you please set a link to your post about other beasties you’ve made? It looks like you’ve referred to a post. To link to another post I’ve made, I open my post in a new window, copy it’s URL, then go back to the post I’m creating and highlight the word I want to use as it’s link and press enter. That makes the link easy. I then click the pencil edit tool and check the box so the link opens in a new window. You can see an example in my post for this week’s photo challenge. Thanks, I’d love to see more beasties!
